Spore Counts

Weekly spore counts are taken from a number of sites throughout our practice to give you an idea of the risk of facial eczema.

Please remember that spore counting is a guide only. Spore counts can vary markedly between and even within a single paddock.

Spore count risk levels

Low 0 - 20,000
Medium 20,000 - 50,000
High 50,000 - 100,000
Extreme 100,000+
