Most mobs will be done by a pair of technicians to provide you with a fast, efficient and high quality service.

Pain Relief Options

For those clients concerned about animal welfare and providing pain relief for what is a very painful operation, we recommend and can provide the following pain relief options:

• Local anaesthetic
• Full sedation & local anaesthetic (involves a vet)
• Anti-inflammatory pain relief injection

Calves that receive pain relief will have less irritation to the wound site, less stress & will return to full feeding & growth much quicker.

To ensure best results, we prefer to disbud calves at 3-8 weeks of age.

Older calves can be disbudded but it may take longer and involve an extra charge.
